Rutgers University and the Planning Healthy Communities Initiative (PHCI) is running a low-cost HIA training workshop are running on May 22, 2017 – only $125! – that can earn you 5.0 CEs towards your REHS/HO license and/or 4.5 CHES/MCHES credits for certification renewal. If two or more of you register together, it’s only $95 per person. Health Impact Assessment is a national initiative that provides evidence-based recommendations aimed at enhancing positive health impacts in a community. The one-day workshop targets administration, planners, engineers, educators and other public health professionals – so even if it is something you may not have the ‘authority’ to implement directly, you can take back the principles and applicability to your professional colleagues.
